Beautiful silver Coho from around noon. Took a while to find them but came upon a pool with like 50 of em. Lost another on a nice jump before landing this one.

Had a beautiful morning/early afternoon on the Coldwater. Started slow, missing a couple Whitefish and bouncing back & forth from nymphing and tossing streamers for Bulls. Got to one pool with multiple Bullies and a couple little ‘Bows and Whitefish and was able to land a little ‘Bow and Bull. Caught the ‘Bow on a size 18 nymph but he took it quite deep and bled but seemed to be fine. The Bull was only my second ever and I didn’t manage to get a good pic because he jumped out of my hands. My buddy Lukas caught one as well though that we photographed.

Caught two beautiful Coho this evening on the Nicola River, first ever of this species! First one had an ugly kype on it and was fairly dark. Second one might’ve been a female but I couldn’t be sure cuz it had a slight jaw on it too. Second one was much shinier, definitely could’ve been tablefare if retention was open. Released these two hogs to do what they’ve came all this way to do… go to freakytown! 🤣🤣 Tight lines everyone!
