Ended the drought since ice fishing season with this kitty. Caught on a simple sinker setup with worms 🪱

Been skunked since ice fishing and finally caught this guy right before the thunder storm! ⛈️ Was trying to catch my first channel catfish but caught my first sucker instead. It was a definitely pleasant surprise 😆

My very first lake trout🥳🥳🥳 I literally went into the water to pull it out, it had come off the hook right in front of me. I was in my jacket and I had my arms and chest completely in the water to pull it out and I was able to grab it. I've been fishing for lakers for a long time but I've never had any luck, but this time I got lucky and caught my first lake trout. My jacket is wet now tho 🫩

First catch of the year!

‼️NEW PB‼️I don't know how much he weighed but I had a tape measure and he was a little over 20 inches, it's probably about 6 pounds. I think this is the biggest bass I've ever caught, I caught one this summer that was about the same size, but I didn't get to take a picture because it slipped out of my hand. After that I jumped into the water to catch him but he escaped😅
