Double Catch & Release of the same fish - just caught by different species. Must Watch!! My craziest moment whilst fishing to date. If you only have 30 seconds, watch the first video! If you have time, have a flick through them all 👌🏼 Lots of rain over the last 2 days meant the river & lake were well up with some slight flooding. After 5 minutes at the lake I landed this beautiful Brown. As you'll see there was a little blood at the lip from the hook (which will become relevant). I released the fish but it slowly looped back around (I think heading to hide in the fringe?) - so I thought I'd record it. What followed blew me away! As you'll see in the last video the fish swam off safely & hopefully unharmed. Only 1 month left living in this insane spot. Planning to make the most of it!

A little on the skinny side but the pick of the bunch in a brilliant afternoon session! Headed out for an hour after my morning shift. There had been loads of rain over night so the stream & river were well up. A stunning day in a stunning spot. I can't tell you how jealous I am of the fella who owns the property across the river - rural bliss whenever he wants. Second cast I landed a 20cm Brown with beautiful red spotting. Another 20cm was landed shortly after & I finished off with this nice mid-sized Brown.

Picked up this really pretty Brown from the deeper pockets along the edge of the river. No rain for a couple of days meant the water was down a little. No bother though as this means I can wait into the middle of the river & fish from some very shallow rocks. It was a beautiful sunny morning & this spot is just a 5 minute stroll from our back porch. You can see from the darker water how much deeper it is along the edge & all size of trout love to sit in pockets & fallen trees along there. I managed to hook 3 in a nice little afternoon session. 2 very small & this lovely mid-sized.
