Cold weather fishing. Strike King 5-inch watermelon-red flake Texas rig and small jigs worked today. Slowwwwwww fishing.🎣👍

I really need to make it a habit to check my lines before I fish. I take it for granted that lines are okay. I have losted 4 Berkeley Whopper Ploppers, either line breaking or carelessly casting into brushes. That’s 60 bucks right there.🤬

The first pic, showing the top-water I used, I caught 12 more LMB at this size. But ended the evening catching this nice 3.1 lbs @ 18.50 inches. LOL, I had to use my flashlight on my phone to see.🎣👍

Top-water action at the Dinker Convention. Largest dink at 2 lbs @ 16.5 inches long. 🎣👍

Last cast of the day and boom. 3.6 lbs at 20.25. Tight lines my Fish Angler friends.🎣👍
