Few Winooski Smallies on jigs

Caught some bait in between classes for later. Trying for bowfin/catfish/eels. Hopefully I'll go through it all

Went Eclipse Fishing. Started down by the winooski for some smallies, but that wasn't working. Then went exploring in the woods, which is where I saw the otter. I was just sitting by a creek and it came within arms reach of me. Then went to gilbrook nature area for the actual eclipse, and caught a couple bluegill. I noticed a lot of fish were rising during the eclipse, and they stopped after it ended.

Caught about 13 gills and 3 bass for my fly fishing tournament this weekend. All caught on the trusty hopper dropper. Tourney was for total inches. I got 95, first place got 123. Probably could've gotten first if I fished for an hour longer. Also didn't help that the fire dept. decided that they wanted to clean their hoses by sucking in pond water and launching it half way across the length of the pond.
