I WAITED 6 HOURS FOR THIS ONE… ⤵️ Back in QLD again and this time it’s my dads birthday so I decided to take him on an overnight fishing trip. First stop Noosa! We took down the boat and hired a cabin overnight... When we arrived early at the Marina we discovered that the new boat cover dad bought wreaked havock on the trip down. Straps broke and flapped so hard that 2 of our rods got caught in the crossfire and snapped off the tips. Devastated. My favourite Abu Garcia Veritas rod….gone 😫 The rest of the day then seemed a bit of a struggle…fighting the wind and slack tide….we managed a few small Bream, some Moses Perch, dad got a lovely Tarwhine and we both secured a little Flattie each. Highlight for me…after 6 hours I finally caught a 30cm Bream. Red faced (from the over 30 degree heat Celsius) we headed back and made our way to our accommodation for the night. Great place to stay if you’re ever in the Noosa area (Ingenia Holidays in Tewantin). We were able to keep the boat and trailer as well as the car right next to the cabin. After a quick rest and shower we headed to BCF to grab some new rods for tomorrow. For dinner I took dad down to Peregian Springs to one of our lovely friends’ Pizza place - check them out if you’re in the area - Brklyn Pizza! As always it’s nice to be out and about with dad and some fishies are a bonus. Bring on tomorrow!!!! Tight Lines my friends 🐟💪🏻
