Red Deer River

Had to take my son to the children’s hospital for a check up on his VSD on his heart (we are told it will fill in on its own) and on our way home I decided to stop at a favourite bridge and cast a line. Caught my personal best brown trout today! Put up a good fight than a picture and released for another day!

Personal best pike out of a river and caught her on 6lbs test without a leader. The pike were loving the panther Martin’s tonight. Being just about 34 weeks pregnant this was a tough fishing trip but glad I got out. Had to take quite a few breaks and sit on the rocks but was worth it!
