what are your takes on this sun fish I caught

I was fishing for sunfish. Had my usual set up. Yellow small jig head worm and bobber. I didn’t even have a leader. Took the real off the rod so the last bit of fighting I didn’t even have my rod and real. My Moby dick

2 of the large mouth I fought, 3rd got bit bad and didn’t think it would be ok to show with guts hanging out of it by a pike

Over 100 of these fish. Checked with big als. They are a cross between a blue gill and large mouth bass

out practicing my fly casting on a tiny local pond and I caught my first fish on a fly ha, tiny bluegill but a fish is a fish and I was just practicing my casting
