Before coaching a family how to fish, I had a go myself and managed a small common carp on some sweet corn on the waggler!

Before coaching a family how to fish, I had a go myself and managed a pretty Rudd I had on the waggler, had loads of roach and perch but nothing worthy of photo, however I was told that there was not many Rudd left and this specimen had nice blood red fins and a golden colouration!

Before coaching a family how to fish, I had a go myself and managed this nice common carp. I just finding the depth with a plummet and tested it out with 4 maggots on the hook and caught this on the drop the bait had not been in the water much longer then 10 seconds!

Another nice dark common I had by free lining some bread on the surface.

Very special fish this one... my first surface caught carp on some bread.
