Caught this crappie on a soft plastic minnow from the bank of Poo Poo Pond in Alabama, where all the fish come out whiter than normal.

Black or white? Two fishing ID apps say this is a black crappie. It looks like a white crappie to me. What do you think? Either way, it’s a PB crappie caught from the shore of an Alabama pond.
