Sacramento River

Had another big one on that got off, caught this guy the next cast 🙂 Definitely a fair amount of fish in that area. Plus a family of otters that live in the partially submerged tree

Decided to find a new spot near the sycamore campground, the usual area near boat ramp has been stale past 5 days. Found this nice area a 2 minute walk from the parking lot. Minutes after arriving I saw schools of fish 4+ swim by, each a good 18"+ in size. Caught this guy 8 minutes after arriving. Unsure of species.

Caught a bass while fishing for fun and trying out some new bait

Gave up on salmon fishing for the day so I switched to trout fishing. Landed her on 6 lbs test. 😂She was dark but had some awesome roe!

Got to take my dad out today! Sac river was good like always. Didn’t get any pics of the big one, think he was around 23”.

Ok Name this FISH?!?!? Lol
