San Diego River

Had another good day of fishing . Caught these on 9/28. Me and my 2 buddies got about 2 dozen of these gills. I tried using lures like spinner and crank baits small plastic grubs..They wouldn't go for it so I used bobber nightcrawler. my friend was using drop shot and was catching them . My other friend was using just a small hook and split shot with a nightcrawler. They were biting every cast .They seem to like the natural bait better. There were about 2 big ones my buddies caught . About 8inch each. Most of the ones we caught were small decent size.
