Upper Brush Creek Lake

4.3 mile hike up to Upper Brush Creek Lake at nearly 11,700'. Both cutties and brookies were active all day, but I had to switch to 6x tippet to get them to take anything. I had 3 fish break off the flies. The cutty I caught was about 16 inches. I saw some much larger ones patrolling about 30 feet out but they were easily spooked on the cast. Going to try the lower lake soon.
