Been fishing here for ages and never caught a bowfin here till yesterday. Now I’ve caught 3 in a row with a glide bait!

First bowfin I’ve caught here. I’ve heard of people catching them twice this size at this spot.

First bass I’ve caught on a descent glide bait.

This morning, I tried a new pond but didn't get a single bite, feeling completely skunked. I decided to take an afternoon nap when I felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to go to my usual spot. The guidance was spot on – thank you, Jesus, for providing beyond what I need. I caught a big one that put up a tough fight, almost lost it in the lilies, but with God's help, I prevailed. Dink after dink but catching is better than most other things.

Thought it was going to be a dink day but man I was wrong thought I lost her twice amongst these lilies but God is good had to run up the bank to get enough speed not to lose her again.
