Nice little hound fish caught off the pier at Phil Foster park. Caught using a floating jerkbait near one of the reefs by the pier.

We fished hard Saturday on team FishAngler in the Big Dog Tackle battle for cancer tournament. The bite was slow but we managed the biggest Mahi of the tournament.

Can somebody please tell me what kind of fish is this at first i was thinking puffer fish but it didn’t blow up when i took the hook off so idk 😂😂 please someone help

I thought it was a sand perch.. but not sure
