More monster bowfin on a large shiner float rig. Didn’t have a scale with me but local guy said Trophy size. I won’t argue that 😆

More dinosaurs. I’m guessing since they’re aggressively hitting the topwater anything that moves near the fry balls, defensive strikes? Still in awe at these things. Makes my gronk-sized self look small lol

Updated posted: I couldn’t let the bent hook escape artist earlier today outta mind, so I came back same spot at night and got him. Apparently its a bowfin, not a snakehead. Im in awe at these…straight outta Predator or something lol
