Recently got tight with my CCAFL boys up in Crystal River. We were targeting cobia & brought 2 home for dinner. We also caught an absurd amount of outta szn monster gags we had to release. So brutal letting two 20+ PBs go #gaggrouper #thathurts #cobia

Super fun week in Florida caught so many fish and even hooked a 300 pound bull shark which was thrilling caught my biggest Bowfin at 7 pounds which was super cool but fun week over all.

I’ve lived/fished in Florida 36 years and had never caught a hogfish. Then the end of 2025 mid December I caught 5 (last pic). Then not even 3 weeks later I caught 5 more on my first offshore trip of 2026 #surreal

Finally caught a gag during the shortened season to take home for dinner! It had been a minute, I’m talking three years #gaggrouper #delicious #crystalriver
