Last weekend my brother and good friend were at lake Shelbyville Illinois at the bottom of the dam on Kaskaskia River side. They slayed them, Muskie, bass, and walleye!

This will remain forever as one of the best days of my life! I fulfilled another childhood dream and I couldn’t be happier!!! The emotions that fishing gives me are something that can’t be bought and I’m so grateful for every minute I get to spend immerse in nature and for every bite I get to receive!! Thank you all for loving this sport and respect, protect and handle this animals as best as they deserve! We’ll also have a lot to gain from it! FINALLY! Only took 4 trips to complete the Illinois Esox Trifecta - catch all 3 IL members of the pike family (musky, northern pike, grass pickerel) and catch them all in IL. Also a PB but that just says how little I fish for musky....
