GlenOaks Country Club Pond

Got out at 7:30 this morning before going to an amusement park with my cousins, was fishing a golf course pond when a golfer threatened to hit me with his ball, I didn’t think he would then a ball zips by me a few feet off, walked off and went to a different pond and hooked into 6 so far. 5 on a Ned rig on my new rod and one on a tiny Keitech paddle tail. The paddle tails already torn to shreds because of how Keitech makes their plastics.

Just landed in Kentucky. Got in the car to go to the pond for a quick 40 minutes while we get ready to go to Dale Hollow. Thank God, this guy bit 40 minutes in. no fish the whole time. The weeds were so bad I had to switch to lures with a weed guard with 10 minutes left. I saw a huge grass carp and spooked about five bass all of 2 pound size, but finally got this guy on the black and blue jig. It was my first ever bass on a jig.Can’t wait to actually get to Dalehollow.

Went out fishing with my cousin today, trying to get him in his first bass, I got three myself and he achieved his goal one bass!
