Sleepy Hollow Lake

Another awesome day! I started out with the mini spinnerbait and craw crank, but nothing. It was pretty hot out so I decided a jig was the way to go, and I was correct! After 50 minutes of no fish I get a fish, small but beat the skunk,that signified the bite turning on over the next 1.5 hours I hooked into 4 more bass with the jig, I think I’ve figured it out. Another bait added to my arsenal of confidence lures. Even better I started to throw around a micro white chatterbait, and hooked into my first chatterbait fish! What an amazing day, jig unlocked along with the chatterbait. Going up to dale hollow for three days right now, see if I can’t figure out the jerkbait while up there, but I know how to fish spinnerbaits, jigs and chatterbaits now!

What an awesome day! Out in ky for a family meetup at dale hollow, today is the day before we go up, went out to the local golf course pond. started with a rebel teeny wee craw crank and had 4 hits and caught two. Switched it up to a strike king micro spinner bait, in bleeding shad, caught 4 more. First time ever using a spinner bait and stoked about it! The spinner bait will be added to my arsenal when I fish dale hollow lake for the next three days. The keitech easy shiner trailer (because it keitech) tore apart after 4-5 fish, still works but I need to slide it up the hook after every few casts, time to get back at it!

I hadn’t gone fishing in three days so I decided to go out New Year’s Day for some bass. Only one fish today, but boy it was fun to have a fish on. happy New Year’s all!

We spent all day driving around, on our way home we just decided to stop by the pond for a quick hour and caught 5 two were mine.

Another one to end the day

Decided to go out and try a new lure I got for Christmas, and boy do I like it. The rebel wee craw is slaying them here, I’ve sadly missed 6 other fish but it’s because I’ve never fished with cranks and moving lures at that, I mostly have used finnese in the past so I’m still new to moving hits but I’m enjoying each one! They keep coming off a few feet before the bank or a few seconds after I hookup. Still having tremendous fun though merry Christmas to you all. The bass thumb is getting pretty bad too!
