Mount Sinai Harbor

Yellow perch action was great. The red on their fins was beautiful. Caught one malnourished looking one that had a weird blue blotch on both sides of it's tail. Found both my targeted species later and messed up the hook set on both 😩.

Nice sized bluefish off the docks. Lots of porgys too

Rough day today but managed to get 3 new lifers out of the 5 that are in this body of water. Species 33 smallmouth bass, Species 34 white perch, and species 35 Banded killie. Lost what could've been my first walleye but 3 new lifers is a successful day Caught a beautiful surprise goldfish then added on the micro hook and caught a bunch more banded killies, white perch, and some micro pumpkinseed.

Always a delight to catch something new!
