Little change of scenery today. Made the journey up to Lake Erie and had a dink smash fest on the bladed jig. It was a lot of fun catching them in my favorite way, even in the absolutely whipping wind. Super star of the day was the newly redesigned bladed jig from bluerock custom tackle but I also managed to put some fish in the boat on a BFS chatterbait. . . Put on a clinic of completely struggling to catch fish today at west harbor. But that’s not what today was about. I finally got the old man out on the boat with me again today. While we didn’t catch much we did have a lot of fun spending the day together. . . Everyone we talked to seemed to struggle just as much as we did.
