Caught this LMB beauty as the sun was beginning to descend on a hot Texas afternoon. Fifteen minutes later I snagged another one, but upon breaching the surface, he shook the hook free. Thankfully my soft plastic lizard was still (barely) hanging on. Landing one out of two ain’t bad.
