Caught on the skunk buster #2: watermelon red wacky rig set up out in open water. 1.5-1.7 lb. Not a 2 but we will take it

Please practice catch and release in community ponds. Seen too many stringers of micro bass and cast netting game fish.

Caught multiple crappie using power bait

Caught multiple with power bait. We also caught a much larger fish, the size of a loaf of bread. My wife had it on the line, but it looked like it pulled the hook off. If anyone has any tips or tricks for catching anything bigger, like bass or catfish, please let me know. I have only been fishing for a month and a half now. Thank you
