Gihon River

After 4 outings in Vt with no luck (2 times for bass and 2 times for trout), I finally got on some fish. There were a lot of brookies in this river. It was very tight for most of it, so there were some nice holes that were just impossible to fish, but the ones that were open were loaded with fish. I easily landed a dozen fish. All of them coming on a size 16 and 18 p-tail. A lot of them slipped through the holes in my net and unhoomed themselves. I missed a lot more fish as well. There was also 2 different fish that attacked my little orange indicator. There were some Iso's coming off the water, but there was a lot of small bwos, maybe size 22. I didn't have a mayfly nymph that small, but if I did, I bet I would've got even more
