Unnamed / Volunteer Rd Pond

Forgot to post this earlier, but we got some mountain fishing in for memorial weekend. This pond is notorious for sneaky fish that strip the hook, so I decided to put on a tiny plastic worm. Somehow, the his actually worked, but I only caught one. Blake caught two on some grubs as well.

Went fishing at the mountain pond again. Blake did all the catching. I decided to try out some lures while he used worms. I got some bites, but couldn’t hook anything. I was extra upset when I saw a 2-3 lb bass bite my lure and spit it out.

Went fishing again this morning. I finally caught some! Hope you guys have a great Mother’s Day!

We weren’t planning on going fishing, but Blake and I took a couple of worms we found in the ground and headed over to a nearby pond in the mountains. Unfortunately I didn’t catch anything. I did bring one fish to the shore but it got off and flopped back in.

I hadn’t gotten to posting this since I’ve had so much work to do over the past few weeks. This was the only fish we caught that day. I almost caught one but it fell off the hook right as it got to the shore. I climbed into the weeds and right as I was about to grab it, it flapped and swam away. Even though I was disappointed, I’m just happy my brother got one.

We ran out of bait so my little brother decided to improvise and used a piece of macaroni from macaroni salad!!!#Catch23
