Strong fighters these White muscle crackers will test your tackle pulling you into any structure they can find , caught amongst submerged reef , red bait ,octopus, muscles, crab are usually used as bait when targeting these species 4/0 to 6/0 hook 0.7mm to a 1.0mm hook snoot

My 1st eagle ray landed ....extremely hard fighting fish ...in Kwazulu Natal the anglers refer to them as Tackle busters,fish are usually lost close to the end of a fight when the sudden find a 2nd breath and speed off again catching you off gaurd ending up with a bent open hook /parted leader or main line , sometimes broken swivels
