Nice day with a few of these guys catched

A very succesful day at roodekoppies.7 fish in total

This one was hanging in shallow waters around a tree stump with a mate, not moving away, and not intimidated by the circling kayak. She was checking out the bait with every cast, but did not want to commit. At one time I striked the bait out of her mouth. It took me quite a few casts before I could trick her with a small 3.5" craw. Dit not measure or weigh. Released quickly and she swam immediately back to her nesting area.
