Took my nephew fishing at a local lake, he caught his pb largemouth. He got it on ultralight tackle to boot. We also got perch, crappie and bluegill. Think that we also caught shad it was the biggest shad I’ve seen that I caught. Also caught my pb crappie. Lost three good bass too due to light tackle setup, oh well that’s fishing. Launching the yaks was nasty had to walk through a couple feet of black muck because they lowered the water to fix the dam. Overall great day and worth the hard work.
