Monroe Lake Fishing Report

Great day on Monroe yesterday. Fished brush and rock piles on the fast side yesterday. 12-14ft for water and water temp around us was 82° I used crappie magnet shonuff on a 16th oz jig head and my buddy Carl used a orange/yellow crappie magnet on a 16th head plus his hand ties worked as well. Fish didn't want it tipped with a minnow yesterday so all these were caught on jigs only. Caught well over 100 fish but kept 30 between 10"-13". Bite was really good in the am then slowed down a little in the afternoon. Got to use my OG crappieruler.com ruler today since I gave away my new ones to some other fisherman. I'll be better about having my new rulers with me from now on. Great day on thr water and looking forward to my next trip
