Elliot Beach, Arbroath

Hi lads, I've been fishing for five hours on Eliot Beach, Arbroath. Start three hours before high tide and finish one hour after. My setup two 14 feets Sonik Black SKS with Shimano Ultegra reels with 80 Lb braid main line with 60 Lb shock leader, two patterns flapper with weight 6oz.Bait was Mackerel, Bluey stripe with piece of squid on each 2/0 Aberdeen hooks. First fish was small dab followed with 5 really nice flounders. Most of them take a Bluey/Squid combo. Tide was really fast, wind moderate breeze WE. No rain, cloudy most of flaties was catch between 1am-2.45am at morning. Wee bit of tired but hey great wee sesh. Tight lines everyone.
