Landed this guy in the first 15 minutes or so and then immediately broke off on my next cast. After searching my bag for more leader I realized I left the spool on my bench, straight to braid is never a good idea so I called it. Short day but at least I got one to the net 😆

Pretty buck today, took an olive sculpin and booked it to the fast water.

Lost 1, 4 to the net on a beautiful walk along the river today. Found a little pocket and landed 3 on 3 casts.

4 on, 2 to the net in about an hour. They took a few different colors and all of the fish were feeling feisty on the way in.

Only fish of the day on a Hail Mary at the walk out.

This is a trout. It was in a river. I tricked it into biting a hook. I reeled it in. I scooped it into a net. I took a picture. I put the fish back into the water. It swam away.

3 to the net today including these two colored up fellas.

Lifted the jig into him and he swam right to the net. Easy peasy 😆
