Rainbow trout

Had a decent afternoon yesterday with my girl getting some action on the spinning rods. Got a little pounder stocked trout from Reservoir Lake on a classic worm and bobber setup (2nd photo), but with no other action for a couple hours we decided to head for greener pastures. We found ourselves casting at Lynes Creek Pond for some wild trout about a half an hour later. I switched to a spinner tipped with a worm and got a really nice fish within about 20 minutes. It was probably the biggest fish I’ve gotten out of this pond and looked very healthy. Gave me some good sport as well, going airborne a couple times before I got him in. Fun day going back to the basics, only could’ve been better if the ole lady could’ve gotten one.

Caught this nice rainbow at placid lake today, on of the most amazing lake I’ve been too but if you wanna go there just know that mosquitos will eat you. That’s probably why no one was there.

It doesn't look like a rainbow trout but it sure is one. This little guy my grandpa caught wasn't even putting up a fight. It was like he was accepting his fate. 😂

Baby ‘bow from a spot out west that my buddies boss told him about on Minton Creek. There was some biggger fish but I couldn’t land any of them. Got a chubby one on the drive out at Becher’s Pond (Riske Creek Reservoir) as well on a Pink Clouser fly.
