Did a little bit of fishing over thanksgiving break and ran into a couple species. The first trip was some trout fishing in my favorite local creek and I managed to land a couple wild browns and a wild rainbow. The second excursion was a catfishing trip in some rough winds. The day started off with some bait catching and I landed a few shad. Once we made it to the catfishing spot, it took a while to get a bite. After a few hours of letting our bait soak, I managed to land a little channel catfish and thanks to 0.5x zoom and some impressive camera work from Colin Roberts, it looked far bigger than it was. This fish had some weird bumps all over his body.
