#catch26 #catch2026 Pretty much the final bass caught of the summer and year for me (if anything). Not much otherwise but moreso a chill attempt at a favourite Muskoka spot. Surprisingly chill for a Saturday with very little activity of boats and occasional group of kayakers and canoes throughout the day alongside fewer anglers and families. Sadly lost to a monster (likely 3-5 lb) smallie prior to this catch about 2-3 times but manage to land this beauty of a dink (at least more than half a pound) under the dock dropshotting. Safely released. Happy to not get skunked, yet, very strange to not even catch a sizeable or decent largie this year. No guarantees for fishing after this trip but otherwise a likely huge surprise awaits before fall.
