My wife wanted me to pick up some fresh fish from the Asian market because we were hosting a party at home and planning to barbecue fish for our guests. Before I had to pick up my son from summer camp, I had about an hour to spare. On the way, I happened to pass by a fishing farm. That's when an idea popped into my head: why buy fish from the market when I could catch them myself? Not only would the fish be much fresher, but I would also get the fun of catching my own dinner. And as every angler knows, a fish always tastes better when you've had to fight for it. Decision made—I headed straight to the farm. The fish were incredibly hungry that day. As soon as my lure hit the water, a school of fish would rush over to investigate. The bites came almost instantly, and they swallowed the bait without hesitation. Within just 20 minutes, I had landed the three fish I needed for the barbecue. I've been to this fishing farm several times over the years, and every visit has been exciting. There's something satisfying about bringing home fish that are as fresh as they can possibly be—especially when you've caught them yourself. That day, I arrived home not only with dinner for the party, but also with another cool memory on my adventure book.

After being skunked in fishing for several weeks, my friend approached me, hoping I could take him to a spot where he could catch some fish and regain his confidence. Although I consider myself quite skilled at fishing, I often find that my confidence in catching fish hovers around 50%, regardless of the location. There's always a chance we might come home empty-handed! Not wanting him to face another disappointing outing, I suggested that if he was willing to spend a little money, we could visit a fishing farm. There, we would be surrounded by plenty of fish and guaranteed catches. He enthusiastically agreed! So, that's exactly what we did today! Both he and his son were thrilled with the experience, and we all had a fantastic time! #CatchKing

Had the craziest pike fishing session last month. Caught 6 in an hour. The first two casts in a row were a catch. The last two catches of the session were the best ones, will make separate posts for those. One was definitely the second best pike I’ve caught other than my PB. I love esox!!
