Fish #3 is on the board…literally 🤣 for the #rldltopwaterbash2 I hit a local creek for the first time in months. I put my trusty JDM Avenge Luxxe 80 painted by Chris at Twelve Oaks Custom Lures right next to the bridge support and brought it back at a 45 degree angle to the bank. As soon as it cleared the support he crushed it. He went airborne and then bulldogged until I got him in my hands. He was cold. The low overnight temps are starting to really set in. About 10 casts after this fish, my leader knot came undone on a cast, and my plopper went sailing away. So I decided to wade out into the creek up to my thighs in my work outfit. I returned to shore and fished for another 20 minutes. I returned to work in shorts and no shoes and nobody said a word. At least I saved myself 13 bucks. Finding time to fish recently has been tough. Hopefully we get some more time this weekend and we can fill our 5 fish limit.
