FATHER DAUGHTER FISHING… ⤵️ What a contrast a day makes…overcast and windier this morning…super choppy heading over to our first spot across the Bay. Not gonna lie…I had some vommie moments!! But the fishing…was top notch! Again so many species we didn’t know what to do with ourselves. Hit a Bream pocket at the mangroves with a nice 29cm to take home. So our catches included: - Bream (in abundance) - Rock Cod - Diamond Fish (Butter Bream) - Moses Perch - Spangled Emperor (juvenile) - Tarwhine - Grunter (grunt grunt) - Banded Trumpeter - (Not so) Happy Moments (Rabbit/Spine Fish) Don’t Touch! … Got a nice double up with dad as well with some Breambos. Finishing another great QLD trip with a good fishing session is always so so good! Thanks dad for being my fishing buddy!! Tight Lines my friends 🐟💪🏻

FIRST EVER SNAPPER?..or is it? ⤵️ Back up in QLD - dad and I had an early session on the water. High tide almost ready to go out. No breeze and you just knew it was gonna be a hot day! Sunrise was looming and we started off in the Harbour. First cast I got myself a Breambo. First cast for dad and he got himself a Pike. Steady throughout the day and we covered so so so many species - everything from: - Bream - Pike - Diamond Fish (Butter Bream) - Moses Perch - Sweet Lip - Tarwhine - Trevally (we have to look up which sort of Trevally it was yet) …but the best CATCH OF THE DAY was my first ever - Snapper…well I looked it up it’s actually a Silver sea bream but it’s commonly called a Pink Snapper and some other choice names…nevertheless it’s one of my firsts and one of my favourite catches so far. It hit my line so hard the boat almost capsized. Great fight and super cool fish. Another great outing overall. Tight Lines my friends 🐟💪🏻

VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE! Day Two and it started much better than yesterday. Even though the horizon looked super overcast and a storm was brewing…it didn’t deter our fishing fever! ☺️ Dad was on fire right from the start with some nice solid Bream and a Moses Perch! I followed soon after with a mudcrab and some smaller Bream…as the morning wore on we cruised from spot to spot and suddenly the catches and species were racking up! Yellowfin Bream, beautiful silver coloured Bream and some smashing Black coloured Bream were to be had, along with plenty more Moses Perch, a Banded Trumpeter, a Grunter and a beautiful little Sweet Lip!…then the sky opened up and we sadly called it a day at 11.30am. Drenched but happy back at the boat ramp we packed up and headed home! ❤️ Excellent outing with some beautiful catches. 🐟 I hope Everyone is having an amazing week and ready for a smashing weekend! ☺️ Tight Lines my Friends! Stay safe ❤️
