QLD Trip Fishing Day 1 Back in QLD visiting mum and dad, so that means Fishing Madness with Dad! Well let’s just say Day 1 proved exactly that. From early morning engine troubles, to navigating a new boat and its quirks, to almost coming to fisty cuffs with eachother (lucky one of us didn’t end up overboard)…wind and then heat and the general lack of any decent fish…it all proved challenging. BUT…. …How blessed are we to be out on the water! Spending time with family! We did get some catches don’t get me wrong…many many small Bream, a few Moses Perch, Butter Bream (Diamond Fish) and the catch of the day for dad - a legal sized Sweet Lip (it went back to swim another day). Oh and I caught my first ever little Pike! Another stand out was the wildlife… Big Sea Turtles and Osprey (Eagles) put on a show for us too! Getting ready for tomorrow! Tight Lines my Friends!
