Quesnel Lake

Gerrard Rainbow from Quesnel Lake. This strain of ‘Bow is exclusively found in large water bodies and can grow to immense weights (30 lbs+). It’s my first time catching fish outta the Q on the fly and man did this guy fight. Four jumps, all multiple feet in the air, a couple good runs, and he was in. About 18 inches, probably around 2 lbs. Have been fishing every night from the dock at logging camp, and was rewarded tonight. I’ve been trying since monday, so it feels good.
