Closing weekend for salmon on the Thompson. Got into another nice Pink which was released. Hit a purple wooly bugger. (The fly selected was the closest comparison)

Some beautiful Pink Salmon outta the Thompson. The run’s been super plentiful this year across British Columbia, and I brought a large Hen home to eat. Felt amazing to land another Salmon on my fly rod this season, and feeling very thankful for the abundance which my home provides. True north strong, and free. Tight lines all!
