Black River

Drove really far out with Marco and gang on Sunday for our bass opener. Very beautiful spot with interesting gravel road drive in. The Black river, or at the least the sections we checked out were a bit peculiar. The river looks very productive, however the output was underwhelming. Between the 4 of us, only a handful of decent fish were caught. Some sections had no sign of life at all. I didn't see a single minnow, or crawfish shells anywhere. Perhaps we chose a bad day. It was quite warm. I'd like to visit again on another day to confirm if different conditions could mean better fishing
