Alabama LMB. I think this was the only fish in the entire lake . . . and I caught it from the kayak using a soft plastic lizard. 🦎 Good news for you, I released it, so the sole fish in the lake is still available.

Caught my first (ever) bowfin. Caught it from the shore (using a soft plastic lizard) below the dam at Taylor Lake in NW Alabama (aka Vickery Lake). It was quite a fighter! #bowfin #Alabama
