Casey Pond

First Pike, tried this pond once before and I had a bite from a much bigger fish. This little guy smashed it right at the dock and gave a nice little fight on my ultralight gear.

On a trip to steamboat springs, Colorado I found this spot on the map and had good luck with a simple powerbait rig. There was also northern pike there, but I didn’t fish for any.
