Highland Lake Park Lake

First ever Perch! I also caught my PB Crappie! The fishing wasn’t great today, 6 hrs for three fish, I talked to other people out there, I caught more fish than every person I talked to today. Perch and bluegill on micro Ned, crappie on normal sized Ned.

Oh hell yeah! I’m up in Connecticut with my grandfather fishing, his brother lives on this lake so we are allowed to fish it. I caught a tiny bass first cast and was worrie about bad luck, but even though there are 20 mph wind gusts, and it’s 30 degrees out we still get it done! 2lb 6oz on the dot, what a fish. So happy I can experience this with my grandpa. 5 fish today, I’m pretty happy with that. It was too windy to launch the boat so we are saving that for tomorrow.
