Skunk buster. This is the second bullhead I’ve caught, and this one bit on a golden Joe’s Flies spinner. I never expected a catfish to hit on that, but I’ve never caught a bullhead under usual circumstances.

No luck on bass today, but I caught these two cats about 15 minutes apart on the Magic Bait. They put up a good fight, and the second one beat my PB by a pound.

Caught around a dozen sunfish (only a couple pictured) on bread and a single split shot near the banks after bass fishing didn’t pan out. There weren’t any mondo gillies out there biting, but I had a good time.

Caught one bass on a Texas rigged plastic craw and one bluegill (not pictured) on red worms. It was a fun day but took a while to get anything.
