First fish of 2023 and fish ever small mouth. Excited is an understatement. 😃

Good Ole catawba river never fails when exploring new spots 23 inch blue catfish a Lil over 6lbs, 28 inch channel catfish right at 7lbs 4 oz plus a few Lil 2+ lb blue cat and channels. Tossed 2 small one back to grow. All caught on 8lb test line the drag was screaming.

Caught this good size walleye on the last nightcrawler I had. Always wanted to catch one and final did.

this guy saved me from the skunk, not sure what kind of red horse. But the crazy thing is I caught his butt on a hellgrammite jig rig 🤷

Was a blast today fished 2 hours caught 18 and keep 3 but the big one was released
