Tionesta Lake

I hate this Muskie!!! Not really, but I paid the price after landing this 36 inch beast on 6 pound test. Today I set out on a quest for a birthday Muskie, and I struck gold! However, while landing this fish, he thrashed and lodged all three hooks from one of my trebles into my hand. And in the same motion, broke them all off simultaneously. Two were exposed and I managed to brute force them out of my finger with some pliers, but the other was submerged entirely, invisible under the skin. This unfortunately called for a painful and unsuccessful ER trip as they couldn’t get the final hook out. Looks like it’s gonna be in there for a while. On top of this, I caught a little walleye, a few smallies at the previous spot, and a nice crappie.

#catch23 Fished with a friend on Tionesta Lake today. Caught a variety of fish. Crappie, Bass, and Perch. Mostly on minnows. Nothing worth keeping. Very windy and cool conditions for August here. Have a good weekend.

Fishing with a friend on Tionesta Dam. We went through a lot of minnows and caught a lot of fish but left them all go back in lake. What a beautiful day today.
