Flat River Reservoir (Johnson'Pond)

I've got some catching up to do. 10/05, black nose dace catches.

Catching up - 10/05, bead head black crystal wooly bugger.

Catching up, 9/20, black nose dace catching mostly bluegill, but also finding a bass and a white perch.

And this concludes my backlog. 09/20 wooly bugger catches.

I'm going to be lazy here and combine five outings on four water bodies over two days. Skipping identifying all lines, but all catches on a variety of poppers and wooly buggers. Sat started in the dark on Gorton Pond, and shame on prior users of this place. Sunrise revealed ridiculous amounts of garbage floating and washed ashore. Disgusting mix of party and fishing items. Moved on to the South Branch of the Pawtuxet River. More garbage, but not so much fishing stuff. More partying and businesses along the river. Saturday night and Sunday night, Johnson's Pond (with my daughter!), and in between those, a stop at Tiogue Lake. Slept in this morning, hoping for another sunset outing tonight.

Squeezed a 10 minute session in with my son. He brought in a bigger bass before I even reached him, and I followed with this a few minutes later.

Fishing flies meant for bass, which meant the bluegill would at least be on the bigger side.
