Frying Pan Pond

Wooly bugger catch went according to plan (other than being the only catch on a streamer). The Adams catch? There's no morning surface insect activity around here these days, was not planning dries today, but nymphs weren't even getting a look and I hadn't had a bite in an hour, so I tried looking for bluegill with a tiny gnat and used the PA as a sighter...and that rainbow hit it HARD!

Adams dry still working! Pickerel ate a nightcrawler while I was changing flies.

Didn't have much time at 2nd location, skipped kayak, riverbank and wooly bugger did not disappoint!

One in the dark last night. Thought it was a little one until I got it near the kayak and it took off running. Fought from that point on, but still went back strong.
